Helping women rebuild after life's biggest transitions.
Whether you're navigating postpartum, burnout, perimenopause, or simply trying to find yourself again, you don't have to rebuild alone.
Hi, I'm Nan, The Medulla Doula.
The medulla is part of the brain that helps regulate many of the automatic functions that keep us alive. While my work isn't about the medulla specifically, the name reflects the way I approach postpartum care: supporting the systems that support you.
I'm a postpartum doula, women's health coach, and behavior change specialist with more than 12 years of experience helping women navigate change. I've learned that recovery isn't just physical. It's neurological, emotional, relational, environmental, and deeply human.
After having a baby, you're not simply caring for a newborn. You're rebuilding your body, your routines, your relationships, your confidence, and often your identity. That's where I come in.
My role is to help make that rebuilding feel a little less overwhelming. Sometimes that looks like practical newborn support. Sometimes it means making sure you've eaten lunch, encouraging gentle movement, helping you regulate after a long night, or simply reminding you that you don't have to figure everything out alone.
My background in nutrition, movement, behavior change, and nervous system-informed coaching allows me to support mothers as whole people, not just caregivers.
I believe postpartum isn't about bouncing back.
It's about building forward.
My hope is that when our time together ends, you don't just feel more confident caring for your baby.
You feel more connected to yourself, too.
